Day 2: Next Time

welcome to day 2

Something was missing when I was listening to the recordings of my solo guitar album. So I decided to record this song to round off the set list of the program, and it ended up being perhaps my favorite song on the album, even though it wasn’t intended to be on it in the first place. Here are a few thoughts about why I wrote  ‘Next Time.’ ⌛️

When the most apparent paths have been taken and every possibility has been exhausted, but they didn’t lead anywhere. Unorthodox solutions have been tried to no avail how do you come to terms with the finality of a situation?

There are hundreds of routes and ways to frame it. You could leave it at that, keep it as a memory from the past that you put in a drawer which you can pick up and look at from time to time.  You bring it with you as a learning experience so you can use your previous experience to make something better of it next time.
